In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, our hearts have been called in service to our Brothers and Sisters in Christ in Western NC. On Sunday, November 24, the UMM will be hosting a churchwide Hurricane Relief BBQ luncheon that will be served at 11:00 in the Fellowship Hall. Lunch will consist of BBQ Pork, BBQ Chicken, Brunswick Stew, vegetables and desserts. We will be accepting a Love Offering and Cash Donations that will be sent to UMCOR to help supply long term assistance to those affected by the hurricane. Church members are encouraged to bring a friend for this event to experience the Love of Christ and Service to others that Main Street UMC is built upon.
