The Mission of Main Street United Methodist Church is to
MAKE DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST
FOR THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE WORLD.
But what is a Disciple? For 2025, we will embark on a Church-Wide teaching series, exploring what it means to become Disciples of Jesus Christ. There will be many opportunities for you to be blessed by God’s Word, Teaching, Discussions, and Celebrations throughout this series including:
- Worship Celebrations on Sundays on campus or online, focused on Becoming Disciples
- Sunday School classes that will be focused on Becoming Disciples
- Kids Connect and Youth Gatherings on Sunday mornings focused on Becoming Disciples
- Sunday Evening Disciple 1 Fast Track Bible Study with Rev. Dr. Mark Key (registration information on page 3)
- Wednesday Bible Studies with Pastor Lanny at 11am or 6:30pm (registration information on page 2)
- Wednesday Disciple 2 Fast Track Bible Study with Wayne Boger (registration information on page 3)
To learn more and go deeper in your walk with Christ, you may want to order the Personal Study Guide ($20 with 20 minutes of weekly reading) or the Disciple 1 Bible Study Manual ($50 with 45 minutes of daily reading). These materials are optional. If you already have a copy of the Disciple 1 Bible Study Manual, then you may enjoy reviewing it each week as we go through this Church-Wide series.
