Mark Sunday, August 4 on your calendars for A Big Picnic and More!
The Member Care Committee has reserved Shelter #1 at Triad Park from 4:00- 8:00 for A Big Picnic, which means lots of FOOD. The church will provide fried chicken, tea, water, plates, cups, cutlery and some serving utensils. All who are able, are encouraged to bring side dishes and desserts, as well as any other desired main dishes. Let’s fill up the picnic tables, but you are also welcome to bring folding chairs, and also to label any serving utensils you might bring. Please bring your food to Shelter #1 between 4:00 – 5:00, and Pastor Lanny will bless the food around 5:15.
But there is much More! This is an opportunity to MEET Pastor Lanny and his wife Janet, and to socialize with Main Street friends and to MEET new people! For More FUN, you are encouraged to bring your favorite lawn games and take advantage of the green space. The evening will reveal even More! Come and see who will get the Pie in the Face as the culmination of the food drive competition for Crisis Control.
