One combined worship service at 10:30, followed by a reception in the Commons!
Nancy Blakemore, our Director of Music Ministries, will be retiring effective July 31. Her last worship service will be on Sunday, July 27. We will have ONE COMBINED worship service in our Sanctuary starting at 10:30am to recognize and celebrate Nancy’s ministry. After the conclusion of the worship service, you are invited to a reception in the Commons for an opportunity to greet and express your appreciation to Nancy. During this time, if you desire to give her a love offering, cards or any other form of a “thank you” for a job well done, please do so. Any offering should be made to the church with a designation that it is for Nancy Blakemore. Nancy has been a member of Main Street UMC all of her life, and she has been involved in the music ministry for a long time and Director for 18 years. It is noted that she is not leaving the church, but will be in the choir contributing her talents to the Lord.
