- Join the Heritage Club for a fun outing on April 12. We will go to Willingham Theater to see the show “Southern Fried Funeral”. Deadline to sign up and pay for Willingham Theater tickets is March 24 and the bus will leave the church at 4:30. We will eat at The Center Bistro at 5:30. The show will start at 7:30. Tickets are $24. Cost to ride the bus will be $5. Reservations and payment are required by March 24.
- May 21 Grasshopper Baseball Game Game starts at 6:30. Bus will leave the church at 5:30. Cost to ride the bus will be $5. “Discount Tuesday” prices on food and drinks. Reservations required. Deadline to sign up and pay for Grasshopper Baseball tickets will be April 21.
- June 11 Breakfast at Moose Café and shopping for fresh vegetables at the Farmer’s Market. Meet at the church at 9:00 to ride the bus or meet us there.
- June 20 High Point University Arboretum & Botanical Garden Tour at 11:00. We will eat lunch following the tour.
- July 19 Burgers & BINGO Join us in the Fellowship Hall at 6:00 for hamburgers & hotdogs. Cost will be $5.00 to cover the food. Please bring a dessert to share. Reservations are required before July 14th.
- August 6 Outlet Shopping in Mebane – The bus will be leaving the church at 9:00 for a day of shopping at the Tanger Outlet in Mebane and lunch at the Olive Garden. Cost will be $5.00 to ride the bus. Pay for your meal at the restaurant.
- August 23 Hillbilly Hideaway Dinner Carpool from church at 5:00 or meet at the restaurant for dinner at 5:30. Pay for your meal at the restaurant. Reservations are required.
- September 3 Breakfast at Midtown Cafe in Winston-Salem at 9:00. Meet at the church at 8:40 to carpool. Pay for your meal at the restaurant. Shopping at Thruway Shopping Center after breakfast.
- September 10 or 24?? Covered dish meal in the Fellowship Hall, followed by a discussion on “Getting Your Affairs in Order Checklist”. The main course (One Stop Chicken) will be provided. Guest speaker & topic could change based on availability. Reservations are required.
- October 22 Lunch at Daniel Boone Inn and visiting the Cornerstone Christian Library in Blowing Rock Bus will leave at 9:45am. Cost to ride the bus will be $5.00. Lunch seating is at 11:30 and will cost $28.63 (includes tax & tip) cash or check only, no debit or credit cards. Reservations are required.
- November 7 Southern Supreme Fruitcake Shopping & Lunch. Bus will leave the church at 10:30. Cost to ride the bus will be $5.00 and you will pay for your lunch at the restaurant. We will eat lunch first this year to avoid the crowd at the Fruitcake factory. Let us know if you are interested in touring the factory.
- November 21 Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theatre “Christmas in the Park” A production of song and dance with everyone’s favorite holiday tunes and a nativity. Deadline to sign up and pay for Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theater tickets will be October 20. The amount due will be $67. The bus will leave the church at 10:00am. If you drive, please arrive before 12:00.
- December 6 Dinner at Cody Creek Seating is at 6:00. Bus will leave the church at 4:30. Cost to ride the bus will be $5.00. Reservations are required.
- December 17 Billy Graham Museum and Library More details to come.
