“Nex-Trex Beyond the Bag” Recylcing Program Update:
We began the Nex-Trex plastic recycling initiative in September 2025 with a goal of collecting 1000 lbs. by September 20, 2026. To date we have collected 499#. (66 compressed 45-gallon bags) of plastic has been dropped off and logged under our account at Nex-Trex. Way to go Main Street UMC!
We encourage you to continue to collect for us. We are half way there with 6 more months to go. We will need everyone’s help to make our goal.
